Account: your email address and your password, stored only as a one-way salted (scrypt) hash. We never see or store your actual password.

Session cookie: one strictly necessary cookie (sid) that keeps you logged in, for up to 30 days or until you log out. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Data you add: watchlists, portfolio holdings, price alerts and their alert feed, saved screens, interests and display preferences. This data is private to your account.

Anonymous visit counts: we count page views on our own server to learn which pages are useful. We store the page, the date (IST), the referring website's domain, device type (mobile/desktop), app or browser, and whether you were logged in. We do not store your IP address. To count unique visitors we use a one-way hash of IP and browser with a secret that changes every day, so visitors cannot be followed across days. Known bots are excluded. These rows are deleted after 400 days. No cookies are used for this.

Security logs: our server keeps standard request logs (including IP address) for security and abuse prevention, for up to 30 days; these are not linked to your account.

We do not collect your PAN, bank details, Aadhaar or broker login. We do not use third-party analytics, trackers or ads.Why we use itOnly to run the service you ask for (your lists, portfolio and alerts), keep it secure, and improve it. We do not sell, rent or share your data for advertising.SharingYour data stays on our server, hosted in India. We share it only if the law requires us to.Your choices and rightsYou can download your data or delete your account anytime from Account → Your data. Deleting your account removes your account and everything you added. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or raise a grievance, by emailing shivtheshiva@gmail.com. This is in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.RetentionAccount data is kept until you delete your account. Server backups roll over within about 30 days.
